About Cassio Road Dental Practice
The practice is extremely well established and its origins date back to the 1940s. During the 1960s another practice located on the lower high street in the town centre, opened its doors to local residents, only to merge with what is now Cassio Road Dental Practice back in 1982. Since then the practice has evolved into what you see today; a modern environment; upholding traditional values for patient care.
We have owned the practice since 2006 and in order to enhance our reputation, have invested in extensive refurbishment, creating spacious facilities in addition to the existing free parking that we had.
Cassio Road is conveniently located within walking distance from Watford Town Centre and all local amenities. We pride ourselves on our location and the excellent transport links, both by road and rail.We understand the time constraints our patients face and accordingly we have longer opening hours to accommodate everyone’s needs. Furthermore, we are open on Saturdays for the busy working professional. Our highly qualified dental surgeons and hygienists have completed several post graduate programmes and are continually striving towards improving their professional development portfolios.
Our most recent achievements include becoming an accredited training practice by the University of London and welcoming the Mayor of Watford to our re-launch.
NHS TREATMENT: The practice offers a full range of NHS treatments dependent upon the patient’s commitment to maintaining oral health.
Patients can request services, and express a preference of dentist via the receptionist. The NHS price structure changed in April 2006 with treatments falling into three bands. We have given an example of the new NHS fee structure under our price list page.
Some treatments are not available under the NHS but your dentist will give you a fully itemised treatment plan, listing all the options available to you at the time of your initial consultation. Fees are due once your dental care starts. You may qualify for full or partial exemption from charges, please ask for advice.
PRIVATE TREATMENT : All general family dentistry is available privately either as a fee-per-item (pay as you go) or as a Denplan patient. As an NHS patient you can also choose to have treatment carried out privately, for instance for cosmetic reasons. This covers some treatment not available on the NHS.
Private treatments can offer you access to different materials and techniques with a higher quality aesthetic outcome. Amongst these are crowns, bridges, dental implants, dentures, tooth coloured fillings, tooth whitening and tooth alignment using the latest removable technology.
At the end of your treatment you are entitled to an itemised bill. This should give details of all the costs you have incurred, including items such as hygienist fees. Your dentist will be happy to discuss these with you.
Denplan: We also offer Denplan for your whole family’s dental needs. Taking out a payment plan with Denplan will ensure that you are able to manage your costs at monthly repayments individually designed to suit you.
